Having an image recovery application can be a godsend whenever your camera crashes and you need to get back all those lovely picture you took. Klix is a very simple program that will get the job done for you. Connect your camera to your computer, launch Klix, and all you'll have to do is press scan. The program can take a while to perform this, depending on the number of images you're searching for. Overall, it does a good job at recovering photos but beware that some of them can reappear in a weird state or with different colors. However that can have to do with your camera itself more than the program.

Klix can look for around a dozen image file formats, including popular ones like GIF or JPEG. It can also automatically hide all corrupt images. We were satisfied with how Klix performed and thought it was a very intuitive and easy to use recovery program. We recommend having it on hand for that moment when your camera crashes.

Klix is an easy-to-use program that will search for and reconstruct all pictures on your camera or media card. Klix will work when the pictures have been deleted, lost or if the media card has been re-initialized!

Just select a camera, or media card adapter, press start, then watch your lost and deleted pictures appear.

Klix can recover both pictures and movies, just click and drag the ones you want. Make an exact copy of your media card right to your computer (and recover from it later). There is even an option to secure-delete pictures that you no longer want and they become permanently unrecoverable.

You select the drive you want the pictures to be recovered to. Klix makes no attempt to repair a damaged media card; it cannot cause additional damage or picture loss.
